Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has launched a special collector’s edition motorcycle named ‘The Centennial’ to celebrate the 101st birth anniversary of its founder and Chairman Emeritus, Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal.

The Significance of ‘The Centennial’
‘The Centennial’ motorcycle has been created by Hero MotoCorp in memory of its founder.
Only 100 units of this special edition bike have been made, and it is available only through special invitation.
The deliveries for this motorcycle began in September 2024.
This motorcycle is not just a vehicle, but a symbol of Hero MotoCorp’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
Design and Features
This motorcycle weighs only 158 kg, which makes it 5.5 kg lighter than the Karizma XMR. It uses carbon fiber body panels and an aluminum swingarm to reduce weight.
The Centennial comes with a gas-charged, fully adjustable monoshock from Wilbers, and a 43 mm upside-down front suspension with damping adjustment, offering better ride control.
Although Hero MotoCorp has not officially shared full engine details, it is believed to be based on the 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from the Karizma XMR, which produces around 25 horsepower and 25 Nm of torque.
Thanks to its lighter weight and upgraded performance parts, this bike is expected to deliver even better performance than the standard version.
Conclusion
‘The Centennial’ is not just a motorcycle — it is a symbol of legacy. It honors the contributions of Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal and reflects Hero MotoCorp’s spirit of innovation.
With only 100 units, a premium design, and advanced technology, this motorcycle is truly a valuable asset for collectors and motorcycle lovers.
